Cardon Webb was born in the desert of Albuquerque, New Mexico, but raised in the hills of Boise, Idaho. He has always had a natural aptitude and passion for perceiving his environment and using his observations to draw, build, and create. Constantly referencing the world’s ever-evolving environments, patterns, colors and people, Webb has learned to capture these stimuli and channel them into the personality and function of his art and design. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, he provides an array of services for a broad range of individuals, artists, and corporate clients, with projects including installations and corporate identity, to book covers and one-of-a-kind fine art works.
Webb has been selected by established contemporary artists David Salle, Maya Hayuk and Andrew Schoultz to assist on site-specific art installations and studio projects involving intricate typography and graphic techniques.
Webb was recently honored with a solo exhibition at the Type Directors Club (TDC) in New York City. Highlighting his more recent project, Cardon Copy, a visual exploration and hi-jacking of self-distributed street fliers and tear-offs.
